Cancellation Policy
If less than 24-hour notice is given and/or a client is a no-show, there is a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 50% of the cost (or balance remaining) of the service scheduled. This includes all services and applies to all clients. No exceptions. Failure to pay the cancellation fee will result in being blocked from booking future appointments.
Cancellation fees must be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled. Cancellation fees are separate fees and DO NOT go toward the balance of any newly scheduled appointments.
Please Note: If you are running late, contact me immediately. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, you will be considered a no-show and will be charged a cancellation fee.
Microblading Services
How long does it take to heal?
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Your brows will go through a process. Three to five days following the procedure, they will be a bit darker. Around a week, they will start to peel and/or itch. At about two weeks. the peeling should be complete and your brows will look much lighter. It takes three to four weeks for the color to really settle in. At that point, there could be areas where the ink did not retain as well, which is why the six-week touchup is extremely important. All in all. the complete healing process takes a solid four to five weeks.
What can I NOT do after the procedure?
You are advised to keep the skin clean and dry between washes. Swimming, profuse sweating, tanning. prolonged sun exposure, picking, peeling, scratching, or rubbing the tattoo, are all highly ill-advised. Your service provider will go into further detail on how to care for your brows at your appointment.
How do I extend the life of the procedure?
Once brows are fully healed, applying sunblock (or wearing a hat) and avoiding abrasive facial treatments in the treated area are highly recommended.
Can you guarantee your work?
Unfortunately, no. How the skin reacts and retains ink is different for every client. Many factors should be taken into consideration including skin type, age, scarring, facial products used, sun exposure, etc. All of these play a key role in how the pigment will hold, which is why it is important to know that more than one touch-up may be required. However, it can be guaranteed that your considerations, concerns, and procedure is important to The Microblading Chick, and your service provider will act in accordance with professional experience and training. The Microblading Chick will strive to make you gratified and content every time.
What if I do not like it?
Although PMU is considered to be semi-permanent, the procedure does allow flexibility for color or shape change to some extent. Remember, your brows are not a finished product until after the touch-up appointment. If you are unhappy after that, they will fade with time, or a removal is an option as well.
